My bio.
I have been in radio for over 20 years. Starting in 2003 with VRN in Kirkcaldy. I studied Nc Media Production, progressing to HNC Radio Broadcasting at Glenrothes College Graduating in 2005 with 2 merits passing all my modules, In 2006 I started at Bridge Fm where I took on the roles of Secretary, Co-Ordinator and trainer for the princes trust. In August 2006 I was invited down to the Edinburgh Fringe where I met with the guys who owned Fringe Fm and after a lengthy Geek chat I was offered a Job. I return the next year and took on the roll of station manager. This entailed, producing and driving the board for the comedians, I also presented a Drive show in the afternoon, trained the staff, on the editing software and run the board, I also booked guests and conducted many interviews. In September 2007 I joined Abertay University to do BSc(hons) Psychology, swapping my degree to BA Creative sound productions after first year. I graduated in 2010. I took some time out and concentrated on amateur Dramatics and was in 9 productions in 2 & 1/2 years. In 2017 I started at Mearns for doing Friday drive as well as covering other shows when needed. I developed Friday favorites. I secured my Rock show in 2021 and after a few schedule changes, I have found a home on a Sunday night. In summer 2023 my time slot was increased to 4 hours, which gave me time to the develop the show. In March this year I will to be on the industry panel for Rock Con Edinburgh.
